Since 1989 LCSA has helped homeless families gain stability through our Transitional Housing program’s holistic approach. Homeless families (as defined by the HEARTH Act and HUD) with children under the age of 18, work with a Case Manager to overcome barriers preventing them from self-sufficiency; such as financial management, employment needs, and future housing opportunities. Additionally, the Children’s Case Manager works with each child to assess any scholastic, behavioral, and basic needs.
Case Managers provide the support, referrals, and guidance to make families accountable for their own success. In turn, families are empowered and given the opportunity to gradually change patterns of behavior in order to break the cycle of homelessness.
Please call the Family Housing Hub at 602-595-8700 for more information.
Special Thanks to the Fiesta Bowl Charities for supporting the Transitional Housing Program in 2017. Because of you, families who otherwise would have no place to go, now have a safe place to call home.
